The World Aviation Festival is announcing Royal Schiphol Group as their Official Airport Partner.

Royal Schiphol Group is a leading airport company which manages Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, a major European hub. Committed to safety and sustainability, they operate a network of airports across the Netherlands, fostering international connections for passengers, cargo, and the global economy.

The World Aviation Festival has quadrupled in size over the last five years, attracting airlines, airports and key industry stakeholders from all over the world.”

The World Aviation Festival returns to Amsterdam this year from 8th-10th October. It will unite professionals from across the sector, and will provide invaluable insights into the latest aviation developments, innovations and trends. Over 3,000 attendees are already confirmed to attend, with over 5,000 expected by October. Confirmed speakers include Marjan Rintel, KLM; Patrick Roux, SkyTeam; and József Váradi, WizzAir.

Royal Schiphol Group has set its sights on becoming the world’s most sustainable airport network. This ambitious plan includes achieving zero-waste and zero-emission operations at their airports by 2030. Looking ahead, the group aims to become energy-positive and fully embrace circular economy principles. Beyond their own operations, Schiphol Group is committed to driving sustainability within the aviation sector, working towards net-zero emission air travel by 2050.
