Taiwanese carrier STARLUX launched its inaugural flight from Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport (TPE) in Taipei to Seattle Tacoma Airport (SEA) on August 16, 2024.

Flight JX32 departed TPE Airport at 20:16 local time, and arrived in SEA Airport at 16:06 local time after a flight time of 10 hours and 46 minutes.

The three-times weekly flight is the airline’s third US destination, following Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and San Francisco International Airport (SFO).

“Seattle is not just our latest destination, it’s a pivotal milestone in our US expansion strategy. For the first time, thanks to our esteemed partner Alaska Airlines, we can connect passengers from over 100 US cities via the West Coast to Asia Pacific. The Seattle-Taipei flights will operate on STARLUX’s next-generation Airbus A350. The aircraft features four cabins: four seats in first class, 26 in business class, 36 premium economy seats and 240 in economy.
