Qatar Airways announced that it is launching additional flights to the following key global destinations for the 2024-2025 season:
- London-Heathrow Airport (LHR)
- Velana International Airport (MLE) in Male, the Maldives
- Miami International Airport (MIA)
- Tokyo Haneda Airport (HND)

Our increased flights during the winter holiday season comes as a response to the needs of our passengers who wish to create unforgettable travel experiences,” Qatar Airways Chief Commercial Officer Thierry Antinori said in a statement.
Antinori continued: “Qatar Airways’ is also strengthening its commitment to the UK. Growing to 56 flights a week – the most of any Gulf carrier – further reinforces our long-standing relationship with London Heathrow Airport, as well as our unique strategic alliance with British Airways, which also operates two flights a day to Doha.”
London
Starting October 27, 2024, Qatar Airways flights to London from Doha International Airport (DOH) will increase from 49 to 56 weekly flights.
Following strong demand from customers, the airline will be offering more than 42,000 seats per week each way. Along with the two daily flights operated by its joint business partner, British Airways, there will be 10 daily flights between London-Heathrow and Doha.
The flights will depart daily as follows:
- Flight QR109 Doha (DOH) to London (LHR) : Departure 09:30, Arrival 14:05
- Flight QR110 London (LHR) to Doha (DOH) Departure 15:30, Arrival 01:10
Male
Starting December 13, 2024, Qatar Airways flights to Male in the Maldives will increase from 21 to 28 weekly flights.
The flights will depart daily as follows:
- Flight QR672 Doha (DOH) to Male (MLE): Departure 01:35; Arrival 08:15
- Flight QR673 Male (MLE) to Doha (DOH): Departure 20:15; Arrival 23:10
Miami
Starting December 16, 2024, Qatar Airways flights to Miami will increase from ten to 12 weekly flights.
The flights will depart every Monday and Wednesday on the following schedule:
- Flight QR781 Doha (DOH) to Miami (MIA): Departure 01:20; Arrival 09:50
- Flight QR782 Miami (MIA) to Doha (DOH) : Departure 23:30; Arrival 21:05 the following day
Tokyo
Starting February 14, 2025, Qatar Airways flights to Tokyo will increase from seven to 11 weekly flights.
- Departing every Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday:
- Flight QR808 Doha (DOH) to Tokyo (NRT): Departure 20:15; Arrival 11:55
- Departing every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday:
Flight QR809 Tokyo (NRT) to Doha (DOH) : Departure 16:25; Arrival 23:10
