Philippine Airlines to launch direct services from Manila to Da Nang, Vietnam

Philippine Airlines (PAL) is set to launch direct services between Manila’s Ninoy Aquino International Airport (MNL) to Da Nang International Airport (DAD) in Vietnam starting July 1, 2025.

The two-hour and 40-minute flight will have an initial schedule of three times per week. Da Nang will be Philippine Airlines’ third destination in Vietnam, with the other two being Tan Son Nhat International Airport (SGN) in Ho Chi Minh, and Noi Bai International Airport (HAN) in Hanoi.

“We at Philippine Airlines are excited to strengthen our close relationship with the Vietnamese people with the introduction of direct Manila-Da Nang flights,” said PAL President and Chief Operating Officer Captain Stanley K. Ng. 

“PAL is committed to offering greater connectivity and promoting tourism and commerce between our capital city and the central Vietnamese heartland. We look forward to welcoming more leisure and business travelers onboard our flights to Da Nang,” Ng added.

The new Manila to Da Nang flights will depart every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, deploying Airbus A321 jetliners that accommodate up to 199 passengers on business and economy class cabins. 

The flights are scheduled to operate on the following schedules:

Flight PR 585 depart Manila 11:10 local time arrive  Da Nang 12:45 local time – every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday

Flight  PR 586 depart Da Nang 13:35 local time, arrive  Manila 17:10 local time – every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday

Vietnam’s tourism sector is experiencing strong recovery and growth, with international visitor numbers reaching 17.6 million in 2024, almost matching its pre-pandemic rate.
