Following months of delays, the first Lufthansa A350-900 to be fitted with the highly anticipated Allegris First Class suite is ready to fly from November 2024.
Lufthansa has confirmed that the A350-900, complete with two individual suites and the unique Suite Plus, which offers a double seat and bed, will depart from Munich International Airport (MUC) for Bangalore Kempegowda International Airport (BLR) on November 9, 2024.
On November 15, 2024, the same Lufthansa A350 will then begin flights to Mumbai Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (BOM).
The two Indian airports will then be served alternately by Lufthansa’s only Allegris-ready A350-900.

The new Lufthansa A350-900, registered D-AIXT, was initially introduced in May this year, but without Allegris fitted, due to supply chain issues.
Initially, Lufthansa will present the new product to its most loyal guests by invitation only. Once additional A350s are fitted with Allegris First Class product, Lufthansa will bring in targeted upgrades and bookings.
Lufthansa said: “The furnishings in the First Class Suite set a new standard. Guests can heat or cool their almost one-meter-wide seats in the suite according to their personal needs. The separate suites with ceiling-high walls and lockable door, large table and wide seat, a huge screen and wireless over-ear headphones, set new standards in comfort and individuality in the highest class.”
The individual suites come with personal wardrobes, individual lamps and VR headsets for in-flight entertainment.
