Latvian national airline airBaltic has revealed its updated flight schedule for the upcoming winter season. There will be three additional routes added from its primary base in Riga, Latvia to Innsbruck, Austria, Hurghada, and Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt.
The flights to Innsbruck from Riga, which are set to run once a week on Sundays, will start from December 22, 2024. Scheduled flights to Hurghada will be operated by the airline starting from October 26, 2024, and to Sharm El Sheikh from October 25, 2024. Both flights will be operated twice a week.
“airBaltic continues to be the leading airline in the region, and by expanding our network with new routes during the winter season, we aim to strengthen our position and ambition to grow, enhancing connectivity from the Baltics to the rest of the world,” Martin Gauss, President and CEO of airBaltic, stated in the company’s press release.
During the 2024/2025 winter season, the airline will launch six new routes from the Baltic States – four from Riga, one from Tallinn, and one from Vilnius. One of these destinations is Madeira, which will see two weekly flights from Riga.
airBaltic provides service on more than 130 routes from Riga, Tallinn, Vilnius, Tampere, and, during certain times, Gran Canaria. This enables passengers to connect to different locations across Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, and the Caucasus.
