La Compagnie has added a route from Düsseldorf Airport (DUS) to New York’s Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) to its strictly business class network, beginning in Spring 2027.

On September 7, 2026, the French boutique airline announced that its new nonstop service, bridging Europe and the US, would operate up to five times a week.

According to La Compagnie, when the service begins in 2027, it will be the only airline to offer direct flights between Newark and Düsseldorf.

La Compagnie highlighted Düsseldorf as one of Europe’s “most important economic centers” and claimed that the carrier was responding to “clear demand” in North Rhine-Westphalia, an economic region with “deep and longstanding ties to the US”.

La Compagnie’s route expansion will be supported by the arrival of an Airbus A321LR (Long Range) in 2027, followed by an Airbus A321XLR during 2028. According to ch-aviation data, La Compagnie currently operates two Airbus A321LR aircraft.

At present, the airline connects Newark with Paris Orly (ORY), Nice Côte d’Azur (NCE) and Milan Malpensa (MXP).

“Düsseldorf represents a natural next chapter in La Compagnie’s development,” Christian Vernet, CEO of La Compagnie, said. “At the heart of one of Europe’s most dynamic economic regions, with strong international businesses and longstanding ties to the United States, North Rhine-Westphalia is well suited to our unique all-business-class model.”

La Compagnie will offer up to five weekly flights between New York and Düsseldorf during the summer season, aboard a new Airbus A321LR.

La Compagnie’s Airbus A321neo aircraft feature 76 seats in a 2-2 layout, with every seat capable of converting into a fully flat bed.
