Korean Air has announced that it is to launch flights from Seoul Incheon Airport (ICN) in South Korea to Fuzhou Changle International Airport (FOC), starting from December 28, 2024.

The new route is set to operate three times a week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, on the following schedule:

KE 127 departing Seoul 08:40 local time arriving Fuzhou 10:30 local time

KE 128 departing Fuzhou 11:40 local time arriving Seoul 15:35 local time

The flight time is estimated to be approximately two hours and 50 minutes.

Fuzhou is the capital of Fujian province, which is located in southeast China.  The city is known as a hub for scientific research, industrial chemicals and food processing.

The region features Mount Wuyi, ranked among China’s top ten mountains and widely regarded as southeast China’s premier scenic destination. It is also home to the Qingyun Mountain Hot Springs, renowned for their therapeutic waters and spectacular mountain vistas.

Korean Air declared that the launch of the Fuzhou service is part of its ongoing expansion in China, where the airline continues to strengthen its network to meet growing travel demand.

It follows the carrier’s recent service enhancements, including daily flights from its Incheon-Xiamen International Airport (XMN), and resumption of four weekly flights to Kunming Changshui International Airport (KMG).
