The first Airbus A330-900neo for Malaysia Airlines has rolled out of the paint shop and spotted out in the open in Toulouse, France.

Anand Stanley, President Asia Pacific, at Airbus, shared an image of the aircraft on its Linkedin profile, still without the Rolls-Royce engines, as it is being fitted for the upcoming delivery to the Malaysian flag carrier.

In anticipation of the A330neo arrival, Malaysia Airlines had already been sharing some images of the painting process, first in an X post on May 29, 2024, then in another update on the same social media platform on July 8.

Malaysia Airlines has 20 Airbus A330neo aircraft on order, with deliveries expected to start in Q3 2024. The airline will operate this aircraft type with a two-class cabin featuring 297 seats (28 in Business and 269 in Economy Class).

The Business Class cabin will be fitted with Collins Aerospace “Elevation” seats, featuring all-suite cabins with individual privacy doors and wireless charging pods.

The economy class cabin will be fitted with Recaro CL3810 Economy Class seats.
