Fiji Airways is set to launch a new nonstop service in December 2024, connecting Nadi, Fiji, to Dallas, United States.
The inaugural Fiji-Texas flight, estimated to last about 13 hours, will take place on December 10, 2024.
The new route will operate three times a week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The flights will be operated by Airbus A350-900 XWB aircraft, which are equipped with 301 economy class seats and 33 business class seats.
The new service will connect Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) with Nadi International Airport (NAN). This marks the first time these two airports are to be directly linked with each other.
Andre Viljoen, Fiji Airways Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, said in a press release: “Introducing direct service between Fiji and Dallas is a really exciting milestone for Fiji Airways, as we continue to increase Fiji’s connectivity with the United States and beyond offering our guests more convenient travel options.”
The new route will be Fiji Airways’ fifth direct service to North America, connecting travelers with an additional 247 destinations through DFW Airport. Currently, the carrier operates flights to Los Angeles, San Francisco, Honolulu and Vancouver.
