Embraer recorded a 38.4% surge in adjusted net income during the second quarter of 2026, as profits rose from $158 million in Q2 2025 to $218.6 million.

On August 10, 2026, the Brazilian aircraft manufacturer published its latest financial results including its updated guidance for the year.

Embraer said the company set an all-time record for the April to June period, with $2.2 billion in revenue, a 23% increase over the same quarter of 2025.

Adjusted free cash flow (excluding Eve) totaled $401 million in the second quarter, “reflecting stronger operating performance, strong sales-related pre-downpayment inflows, and an extraordinary tax credit”.

The tax credit, the exemption from tariffs, and an improved business outlook led the company to raise its full-year guidance.

“Embraer now expects to close 2026 with an adjusted EBIT margin between 10% and 10.6% (up from between 8.7% and 9.3%) and adjusted free cash flow excluding Eve of US$400 million or higher (up from US$200 million or higher),” the company said in a statement.

The world’s third largest commercial aircraft builder also confirmed its firm order backlog is now worth $34.5 billion – its highest ever and 16% more than Q2 2025.

Embraer delivered 65 aircraft in 2026, marking its “strongest second-quarter performance over the past 16 years”. This represented a 17% rise from the same period last year.

Commercial aircraft accounted for 20 deliveries in Q2 while 45 were executive jets. There were no deliveries from its defense unit.

Embraer reaffirmed its plans to deliver between 80 and 85 commercial aircraft in 2026 and 160 and 170 executive jets.

The executive sector generated revenue of $725 million, up 32% from Q2 2025, “benefiting from higher volumes and product mix”.

Defense & Security saw revenue of $304 million, 38% higher year-over-year, “driven by stronger KC-390 Millennium revenue recognition related to customer mix and product stage”.
