Breeze Airways to launch 18 new routes to five US cities for autumn 2024

Breeze Airways will start operating 18 new routes and to five new cities in the United States starting in autumn 2024, expanding its network to 64 nonstop destinations across 30 states. 

The airline announced its inaugural route connecting Newark, New Jersey, to Charleston, West Virginia. The new route will link Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) to Charleston Yeager Airport (CRW), operating two times a week on Thursdays and Sundays. It is set to start running on November 14, 2024. 

This is the only nonstop route from Newark so far, including the option to travel to Orlando, Florida, through a “Breeze Thru” service that allows passengers to travel without additional transfers. 

“With the addition of Newark, Breeze now serves four New York City area airports while continuing to expand our footprint across the US,” David Neeleman, Breeze Airways CEO, said to local media. “By connecting the dots between underserved city pairs, we are giving travelers more options than ever to fly affordably and comfortably to over 60 destinations across 30 states on more than 200 nonstop flights.” 

Beyond Newark, Breeze is expanding its service with four new routes to Florida. The new routes will connect Florida’s Daytona Beach International Airport (DAB) with New York’s Westchester County Airport (HPN), Hartford Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU), and Rhode Island. The new routes will operate twice a week. The DAB-HPN route will start on November 14, 2024, while DAB-RDU will operate from February 13, 2024. 

Breeze will begin service between Erie, Pennsylvania and Orlando, connecting Erie International Airport (ERI) with Orlando International Airport (MCO). This route will operate twice a week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays, starting from November 6, 2024. 

The airline will start operating flights linking Erie, Pennsylvania, and Orlando, connecting Erie International Airport (ERI) with MCO Airport. Starting from November 6, 2024, this route will run on Wednesdays and Saturdays, two times a week. 

The carrier will offer flights between Indiana and Florida, connecting Indiana’s South Bend International Airport (SBN) with MCO and Fort Myers (RSW) airports in Florida. This route will also operate twice a week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays. SBN-RSW route is scheduled to begin on February 5, 2025. 

Breeze is set to expand to Wilmington, North Carolina, connecting the city with Hartford, Orlando, Providence and Fort Myers. The flights will be operated from Wilmington International Airport (ILM) and will launch in February 2025.  

Breeze will also offer six new routes from Sarasota’s Bradenton International Airport (SRQ) in Florida to Akron-Canton Airport (CAK) in Ohio, Long Island MacArthur Airport (ISP) in New York, Portland International Jetport (PWM) in Maine, Richmond International Airport (RIC) in Virginia, and Westchester County (HPN). SRQ-HPN will begin on October 31, 2024, while the other routes will commence in November 2024.
