An ATRAN cargo aircraft has overturned onto its side while landing at Novy Urengoy Airport (NUX) in Russia.
The incident took place on March 26, 2025, at 11:14 local time. The aircraft, an Antonov An-12BK registered as RA-11371 and operated by ATRAN, a Moscow-based cargo airline, was flying from Sabetta International Airport (SBT) to Novy Urengoy Airport (NUX).
During the landing on runway 09 at Novy Urengoy Airport, the left landing gear collapsed, causing the aircraft to drift on the runway until it hit a snowbank.

Pictures of the aftermath show that the propellers sustained damage during the incident. There were eight people on board. However, no injuries have been reported.
Following the mishap, operations at Novy Urengoy Airport were temporarily suspended. The Ural Transport Prosecutor’s Office has initiated an investigation into the incident.
