Starting from July 27, 2024, Air France will be operating a pop-up restaurant at Paris’ Palais de Tokyo, located close to the venues hosting several Olympic events.
The restaurant will have capacity for 80 guests, and the airline claims it will represent a unique fine-dining experience ‘just like on board’.
The pop-up restaurant will offer the same culinary meals as those usually served exclusively in Air France’s long-haul Business cabin.
The restaurant spans over 850 square meters, with guests able to enter and explore the place free of charge.
The restaurant menu has been created by triple Michelin-starred French chef Arnaud Lallement, including meat, chicken, fish and a vegetarian option. The airline says that the menu for August will be different from July’s.
The desserts will feature culinary creations by Nina Métayer, recently voted ‘World’s Best Pastry Chef 2024’ in the World’s 50 Best Restaurants ranking.
A selection of wines, champagne and a wide choice of alcoholic and soft drinks will also be available. Each French-style meal will include an appetizer, starter, main course, cheese and a dessert. It will be served in the tableware specially created for Air France by designer Jean-Marie Massaud, in an aviation-style setting integrating the airline’s Business meal tray.
There will also be an exhibition area in the restaurant where guests can try out Air France’s latest Business cabin, equipped with a new sliding door and offering greater comfort and privacy. Guests can even take a virtual visit to the cockpit of an Airbus A350, the flagship of the airline’s long-haul fleet.
Air France’s pop-up restaurant and exhibit will run from July 27, 2024 until August 11, 2024.
