Wizz Air will launch two new nonstop services in autumn 2024 connecting Malmö, Sweden, to Bucharest and Iasi, Romania.
The new routes will operate twice a week, specifically on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
The new service will link Malmö Airport (MMX) with two Romanian airports – Bucharest Henri Coandă International Airport (OTP) and Iasi International Airport (IAS).
Wizz Air will operate Malmö Airport (MMX) – Bucharest (OTP) using Airbus A321 aircraft, while Malmö Airport (MMX) – Iasi (IAS) will be operated with Airbus A320 aircraft.
“We are excited to expand our network from Bucharest and Iasi, offering our passengers more opportunities to explore some of Europe’s most beautiful and culturally rich destinations,” a representative for Wizz Air said.
The spokesperson added: “Malmö is a fantastic addition, offering unique experiences for travelers seeking adventure, relaxation and everything in between.”
The new routes will start operating from October 29, 2024.
