Lufthansa’s latest First and Business class Allegris seats will be open for commercial booking on selected flights starting March 30, 2025.

According to Lufthansa, the first routes where the Allegris product can be booked are flights from Munich Airport (MUC) to Shanghai Pudong International Airport (PVG), San Francisco International Airport (SFO) and Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD).

More destinations will be added over the coming weeks and months where the Allegris product can be booked with the option of an individual seat selection.

For Business Class bookings, the Classic Seat reservation remains free of charge. Passengers who wish to opt for Privacy Seats with Extra Long Bed can do so for €100 ($105) and the Extra Space Seat from €130 ($136.50).

The Business Class Suite seats, which have higher privacy walls, a personal wardrobe, sliding doors, extra space and a bigger entertainment monitor can be booked for €400 ($420).

For First Class, the basic suites can be reserved in advance free of charge. Those who wish to reserve the large Suite Plus which has the option of having a travel partner in a suite, can do so for a fee starting from €1900 ($1995) for single use.

Economy passengers who wish to travel with extra legroom can avail this starting from €50 ($52.50).

To reward its loyal Lufthansa Group customers, the German flag carrier is reserving 80% of the seat options in business class to be selected free of charge by members, depending on their status.

Following months of delays, the first Lufthansa A350-900 to be fitted with the Allegris First Class suite finally flew from Munich International Airport (MUC) for Bangalore Kempegowda International Airport (BLR) on November 9, 2024.

The airline said that a second A350 aircraft with all four Allegris classes on board is scheduled to start services from December 2025.
