Lufthansa has announced that 38 of its Airbus A320 jets already operating will receive a new cabin upgrade.
According to the German flag carrier the cabin interior conversion will begin in spring 2025 and includes innovative new features.
The news was announced on September 27, 2023, with future passengers promised short and medium-haul flights with “significantly more comfort and premium”.

Lufthansa said this will allow for luggage to be packed away “much more quickly and conveniently in the compartments”.
Each seat will also have its own dedicated USB port, which can be used to charge mobile devices.
And in a first for Lufthansa all seats with be equipped with a special holder for tablets and smartphones allowing customers to watch movies and series much more comfortably.
New seats from the Italian manufacturer Geven will also be fitted on all 38 Airbus A320s which will provide more legroom thanks to the ergonomic shaping of the backrests.
“Lufthansa is equipping 38 Airbus A320s with a new cabin: from spring 2025, the new cabin will offer larger luggage compartments for up to twice as many suitcases, holders for tablets and smartphones on each seat and more legroom,” the airline wrote on social media.
