LATAM Airlines has announced its intention to introduce a range of new color schemes across five of its aircraft. The schemes will be variations of the existing LATAM Airlines group livery, except that the new schemes will incorporate the colors of the national flags of key South American countries that its subsidiaries serve.

The concept, which will be rolled out throughout 2024, will see the five selected aircraft repainted in the national colors of Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Peru, and Ecuador.

The first aircraft, sporting a green and yellow variation of the LATAM livery, has been rolled out on one of the carrier’s Airbus A320neo aircraft (registration PR-XBG) and is already flying services honoring the airline’s extensive Brazilian-based operations.

“Through this initiative, the group’s companies seek to deepen their ties with each of the countries in which we operate,” said Martin St. George, Vice President of Commercial and Marketing at LATAM Airlines Group.

“The initiative highlights the pride of the origins of all the collaborators who mobilize the LATAM group and reinforces the connectivity that the group offers to people in our countries, the region, and the world. LATAM Group represents a composition of South American cultures; diversity is an essential part of the group, and this initiative is a way to honor and embrace the differences that represent such great wealth to the region,” he added.

The special Brazilian paint scheme, applied by 30 workers from LATAM’s Brazilian affiliate, maintains the key characteristics of the LATAM livery already on its other aircraft, with just the main colors being modified.
