If one of your New Year’s resolutions is to travel more in 2024, then US carrier Frontier Airlines may just have an offer you might wish to consider. The Denver-based company is offering an all-you-can-fly air pass for $599. The pass offers unlimited travel for a year although restrictions apply.

The airline’s ‘Go Wild All-You-Can-Fly Annual Pass’ gives customers access to unlimited travel on Frontier Airlines flights starting on May 1, 2024, until April 30, 2025. However, there are numerous blackout dates restricting travel for a total of 58 days during the designated 12-month period.

The pass is aimed at getting more casual travelers to venture further afield in the coming year. It is also worth noting that no other U.S. airline currently offers an all-you-can-fly air pass deal, so with this new offering, Frontier is stealing a march on its rivals.

Passengers can use the pass to fly to over 100 US and international destinations served by the budget carrier. Frontier states that the $599 air pass is on offer “for a limited time and while stocks last.” However, that period has not been divulged by the carrier.

Also, worth noting is that as an ultra-low-cost airline, Frontier will require customers of its air pass to pay for additional extras such as seat reservations and carry-on baggage. The deal automatically renews every year at the same price unless pass holders decide to cancel before their renewal date.

To entice back previous holders of its previous air passes as well as new customers alike, Frontier is offering an early booking through its website (FlyFrontier.com) whereby those purchasing an air pass between January 16, 2024, and March 6, 2024, can save $100 on the sign-up cost.

This deal is being offered to previous annual pass holders plus those who already hold a seasonal summer pass on the airline and are interested in upgrading.

Before purchasing a Go Wild All-You-Can-Fly Annual Pass, Frontier is keen to make customers aware that various restrictions apply to its new air pass offering. These restrictions include (but may not be limited to) –

  • All flights must be booked via the airline’s website at www.flyfrontier.com.
  • Flights do not feature any add-on products (such as carry-on bags or assigned seats), although customers can still customize their travel experience at the time of booking.
  • Flights and seats are subject to availability, and ast-seat availability is not guaranteed.
  • A fare of 1 US cent is charged for each segment booked (for legal reasons).
  • Purchasers of an air pass must be 18 or older and a US resident. However, a parent or guardian can purchase a pass for a child in their care.

The full list of blackout dates between May 1, 2024, and April 30, 2025, can be found by visiting the airline’s website.

Frontier Airlines is currently ranked as the eighth largest carrier in the US, carrying 20.8 million passengers in 2023.  The airline’s all-Airbus fleet currently consists of 136 aircraft of the A320 family of planes, with a further 211 aircraft on order.
