Germany’s largest leisure airline, Eurowings, has published plans to ramp up operations during its upcoming winter flight schedule, which includes brand new routes.

On September 26, 2024, Eurowings confirmed that it had “massively expanded” customers’ choice of destinations and range of availability for scheduled flights between October 2024 and March 2025.

With the new schedule in place, Eurowings will fly to more than 120 destinations in 37 countries on 344 routes.

Having successfully launched new routes to Dubai last year, the airline has announced that it will now offer daily flights from Berlin and four weekly flights from Stuttgart at peak times, as well as introducing a service from Cologne-Bonn Airport (CGN) three times a week.

Jeddah in Saudi Arabia will be added to Eurowings’ list of new destinations, with flights three times a week from Berlin and Cologne-Bonn.

This winter, Eurowings will also introduce two weekly connections to Cairo, the capital of Egypt, which the airline will connect with Düsseldorf for the first time.

In addition, passengers flying from Stuttgart and Hamburg will benefit from new Eurowings connections to Finland and Norway.

These include two flights per week to Rovaniemi and Kittilä from Hamburg and, from January 2025, two flights per week to Rovaniemi and Tromsø from Stuttgart.

Other routes being introduced by the airline are a two flights per week service to Faro from Berlin; six flights per week to Nürnberg; two flights per week to Thessaloniki from Hamburg; one flight per week to Madeira from Nürnberg; and 18 flights to Mallorca from Hanover during the Christmas holiday period.

Outside of Germany, passengers flying from Prague will also benefit from additional flights to Alicante in Winter 2024. Plus, there will be more flights from Stockholm to Berlin and Prague.

From Palma de Mallorca, there will be even more frequent direct connections to Cologne, Dortmund, Berlin, Stuttgart and Salzburg.
