The three times weekly flights to Vienna will commence on June 3, 2025, and will be operated using the carrier’s fleet of Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft, which has the capacity for 329 passengers in two cabin classes.

Scoot said that in addition to these new destinations, it will adjust its network to better match capacity and demand in order to optimize aircraft deployment. This includes Scoot’s suspension of services to Berlin Airport (BER) and Jinan Yaoqiang International Airport (TNA) in China.

“We remain committed in expanding our network and connecting travelers to new destinations around the world at a great value. As the only airline offering direct flights between Singapore and Vienna, we are thrilled to introduce this new service in June, just in time for the holidays,” Leslie Thng, Chief Executive Officer of Scoot said in a statement.

“With the launch of direct flights to Iloilo City, we also hope to inspire our customers to explore more cities within Southeast Asia and embark on new travel experiences,” Thng added.

Iloilo City is located in the southern part of the Philippines, in the Visayas region, and is considered to be one of the major cities of the country. It is known for Spanish colonial churches and old houses.

Philippine low-cost carrier Cebu Pacific also operates the Iloilo City to Singapore service.
