American Airlines has announced a firm order for four E175 aircraft from Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer.

These aircraft will be operated by Envoy Air, American’s wholly-owned subsidiary. This order is valued at $230.6 million at list price.

The four E175s are set to be delivered in the fourth quarter of 2024. With this addition, Envoy’s all-E-Jet fleet is poised to grow to over 150 aircraft by the end of 2024.

“These new jets will allow us to continue growing with American Airlines,” Pedro Fábregas, President & CEO of Envoy said. “We’re pleased to announce these additional four aircraft, following the order announced in June, as the US domestic and regional markets recover from a very challenging few years.”

In June 2023, American Airlines already ordered seven Embraer E175 aircraft for the Envoy Air fleet at the Paris Air Show. Embraer will begin delivering the seven regional aircraft in Q4 2023.
