Alaska Airlines announced that it plans to hire more than 3,500 employees in various roles during 2023.
In its statement, Alaska said it needs thousands of people to join “the Alaska family” as the airline continues to grow its fleet of aircraft.

The Seattle-based airline plans to hire workers across a number of areas from maintenance technicians and contact center agents, to flight attendants, pilots, customer service agents and software engineers.
Alaska said that it is looking for the following positions:
- 550 pilots
- 1,000 flight attendants
- 1,000 customer service agents
- 100 ramp service agents
- 240 contact center agents
- 135 maintenance technicians
- 500 management positions

The airline said that most of the new jobs will be based at Alaska’s hubs in Seattle and Portland, as well as locations up and down the US West Coast.
