airBaltic is inviting members of the public to design the livery for its 50th Airbus A220-300 aircraft which is due to be delivered in November 2024.

Launching the competition on November 27, 2023, airBaltic described it as a “once-in-a-lifetime opportunity” to become “part of aviation history and be seen by millions”.

The winner will not only have their design adorned across airBaltic’s latest Airbus A220-300 but also be presented with a €3,000 ($3,278) gift certificate to use on the airline.

The Baltic-based carrier has also promised the winner media exposure and is inviting individual artists, designers, and other creative talents to enter, as well as members of the public.

“airBaltic takes pride in operating one of the most extensive fleets of the world-class Airbus A220-300 aircraft. As we eagerly anticipate the arrival of our 50th aircraft in November 2024, we’re making the wait more exciting by letting you decide on the aircraft’s design,” the airline wrote on its website.

Entrants are being encouraged to create “captivating and meaningful designs you’ll be proud of”.

Those that wish to enter are instructed to download a blank image of the A220-300 livery and create their design across all three views (front, right side, left side) of the aircraft.

The final day to submit your designs is on December 12, 2023, and those wishing to enter must be over 18 years of age and not from a commercial entity.

So, get thinking and design your own airBaltic livery.
