Qatar Airways touched down in Dusseldorf, Germany, its latest and fourth German city destination.
The inaugural flight from Doha’s Hamad International Airport (DOH) to Dusseldorf International Airport (DUS) took place on November 15, 2022.
Flight QF 085, operated by the airline’s Boeing B787 aircraft, was welcomed by a water cannon salute upon arrival.

The new daily, direct service to Dusseldorf will operate daily via the B787, and offer 22 seats in Business Class and 232 seats in Economy Class
“We are delighted to launch direct services to Düsseldorf, expanding our services in Germany, and marking our entry to the Ruhr region – just in time for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™. With this new service, not only will German passengers enjoy daily flights from a new location, but customers in the nearby countries of Belgium and the Netherlands will also have access to over 150 destinations across Africa, Asia and the Middle East,” Qatar Airways group chief executive Akbar Al Baker said in a statement.
The Doha-Dusseldorf route will operate the following schedule:
QR085, Doha (DOH) – Dusseldorf (DUS), departure 08:00 local time, arrival 12:45 local time
QR086, Dusseldorf (DUS) – Doha (DOH), departure 15:25 local time, arrival 23:20 local time
Aside from Dusseldorf, Qatar Airways also currently offers services to Munich, Frankfurt and Berlin.
