A Transavia France Boeing 737 passenger aircraft suffered structural damage to its airframe while landing at Nantes Atlantique Airport (NTE) in France.
The incident took place on October 1, 2022, when Transavia France Boeing 737-800 jet, registered F-GZHA, was performing scheduled passenger flight TO-3943.
According to flight history found on Flightradar24.com, the plane, which had 160 passengers on board, departed from Djerba–Zarzis International Airport (DJE) in Tunisia at around 8.36 a.m. (UTC) and was scheduled to land at Nantes Atlantique International Airport (NTE) in France.
However, at 11.04 a.m. (UTC), during touchdown at NTE airport, the plane burst both nose wheel tires and rolled out on its nose wheel rims. According to the Jet Airliner Crash Data Evaluation Centre (JACDEC), the aircraft was pushed beyond the acceptable load rating, thus the jet experienced overstressing. This resulted in substantial damage to its nose landing gear assembly.
According to Planespotters.com, the F-GZHA is more than 15 years old.

The Bureau of Enquiry and Analysis for Civil Aviation Safety (BEA) has initiated an investigation.
