Low-cost carrier Jetstar Asia will increase the number of flight services from Singapore to Bangkok and Manila, two of the airline’s most popular Southeast Asian destinations.

The airline announced that, from August 2022, it will operate two additional morning services to Manila on Sundays and Mondays. With these additional services, Jetstar Asia will now operate 13 services a week to the Philippine capital.

For Bangkok, Jetstar Asia said that it will operate an additional Saturday morning service between Singapore and the Thai capital, increasing its services to eight return flights per week.

“In July, Jetstar Asia’s Load Factor averaged over 90 per cent meaning we are welcoming more passengers on board our flights and are making the world more accessible for our customers again,” Jetstar Asia regional sales manager for Southeast Asia Woo Wai Keong said in a statement.

“By restoring and growing our short-haul network, we’re helping reconnect families and friends, giving our customers more opportunities to take a well-deserved break, while helping rebuild economies of the communities we fly to,” he added.

The Singapore-based carrier also said that from August 19, 2022 it will adjust two services between Singapore and Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam. The flights will depart on Friday and Sunday evenings instead of Wednesday and Sunday mornings.

Jetstar Asia currently operates more than 200 flights a week from Singapore Changi’s Terminal 1 to 12 cities across Southeast Asia.
