Indian airline Vistara will be increasing flights to Europe thanks to the arrival of a leased Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.

The carrier said it was preparing to receive its third Dreamliner, which will allow it to double flights to and from Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG) and Frankfurt (FRA).

From October 30, 2022, Vistara will operate 6 weekly flights between Delhi (DEL) and FRA, up from three times a week currently. Flights between DEL-CDG will increase to five times per week from twice a week at present.

Deepak Rajawat, Chief Commercial Officer, Vistara, commented in a press release that Europe was a key focus for Vistara.  “We have been wanting to ramp up frequencies on these sectors and we are delighted to be able to finally do that,” he said.

Vistara’s Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner will have a three-class configuration – economy, premium economy and business.
