Flight disruptions are expected in Paris as workers from two of its airports – Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) and Orly Airport (ORY) – are set to go on a four-day strike from June 30, 2022 to July 3, 2022.

The strike announcement came three weeks after airlines at CDG canceled a quarter of their flights on June 9, 2022 after some airport staff announced a strike in relation to better pay and working conditions.
The country’s national carrier Air France also made an announcement about the strike and expected flight disruptions for June 30, 2022 on its website. The airline advised that the French Civil Aviation Authority (DGAC) has requested that airlines reduce flight programs to and from CDG from 07:00 to 14:00 local time.
“As a consequence, Air France has been forced to adjust its flight schedule to and from this airport and plans to operate all its long-haul flights, and nearly 90% of its short and medium-haul flight program,” Air France said in a statement.
Air France also said that it will adjust its flight schedule for the remaining strike days if necessary according to information provided by Paris Aéroport and the French Civil Aviation Authority (DGAC).
