Airbus has released its May 2022 orders and delivery data revealing that the European plane maker delivered 47 airplanes to 27 customers, delivering fewer planes than during the previous two months.

Airbus’ deliveries were made up of 19 Airbus A320neos, 18 Airbus A321neos, six Airbus A350-900s, four Airbus A220-300s, three Airbus A330-900s, and two Airbus A350-1000 aircraft.

The manufacturer delivered 48 aircraft in April 2022, compared to 63 jets in March 2022.

Airbus said it has delivered a total of 235 deliveries to 58 customers in 2022 so far. Airbus is targeting 720 deliveries for the year.

According to a Reuters report, the lower delivery numbers for May were attributed to the impact of global supply chain bottlenecks.

In addition, Airbus accumulated 13 airplane orders in May 2022, compared to 98 during the previous month.
