Emirates introduced special menu options dedicated to celebrating Easter.

The Dubai-based carrier announced that during Easter weekend between April 16 and April 18, 2022, passengers of all cabin classes will be offered special in-flight meals while traveling to various destinations in Europe, the US, Canada, Australia, South Africa, the Philippines, and Brazil. Then, between April 23 and April 25, 2022, passengers who will take flights from Dubai to Cyprus or Greece, will be offered a special menu to celebrate Orthodox Easter.

According to the airline, passengers who will catch morning flights will be offered hot cross buns or raisin brioches for breakfast. Meanwhile, travelers who will take their journey in premium classes, as well as children, will have the opportunity to enjoy some Easter-inspired desserts, such as a festive Easter egg cake, made of chocolate mousse with raspberry sauce filling garnished with berries and dark chocolate crumbs.

In the meantime, the six Emirates lounges of the airline’s main base at Dubai International Airport (DXB) will also welcome travelers with Easter-special food options. The carrier promised that customers of Emirates First Class Lounges will be able to savor a rich chocolate tart or Easter chocolate cheesecake, while travelers waiting in Business Class Lounge will be offered a traditional Easter carrot cake and Chocolate brownie with caramel sauce.

A slightly different Easter menu will be introduced for travelers in other international airports.

“At Emirates lounges in other international airports, frequent flyers and those travelling in Emirates First and Business Class can enjoy Easter menus with different local highlights such as Roman lamb chops served with artichokes and mint in the Emirates Rome lounge, traditional South African pickled fish in the Emirates lounges in Cape Town, sweet yeast bread in the Emirates Hamburg lounge and Easter leg of lamb, potato gratin with chocolate chip sour cream cake for desert in the US lounges,” the carrier wrote in a statement.
