On behalf of the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) and our partners with the European Business Aviation Association (EBAA), I encourage AeroTime readers to register today to experience the future, seize new opportunities, create new networks and propel your business forward at the European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (EBACE2022) in Geneva, Switzerland from May 23-25, 2022.

This year’s event marks the first in-person EBACE since 2019, and we are excited not only to get back together, but to move ahead in an industry that is as dynamic and promising as ever.

EBACE will be more than just a valuable opportunity to learn about the latest business aviation technologies and trends in Europe and beyond, the show will feature a lineup of speakers and other experts providing their perspectives on what’s to come.

This year’s gathering is particularly timely considering the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, and the global business aviation community’s emergence from the COVID-19 pandemic. Look for the show to offer insights on all aspects of travel and other considerations related to these two events, and their impact not just in Europe, but worldwide.

A host of additional education sessions and events will focus on other priorities for the industry, ranging from operational challenges and regulatory matters to the latest safety guidance and more.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to check out more than 40 of the most advanced business aircraft, from high-tech small aircraft through to ultra-modern intercontinental jets, at the show’s outdoor aircraft display at Geneva International Airport, adjacent to EBACE2022 host facility Palexpo.

Business Aviation’s Innovative, Sustainable Future

Sustainability in the aviation sector, and particularly with regard to business aviation, will be at the forefront at EBACE2022, including demonstrations of the products, procedures and policies that are making revolutionary gains in lowering the sector’s carbon footprint. An inaugural EBACE Business Aviation Sustainability Summit will serve as the cornerstone for highlighting sustainability efforts and detailing how you can apply the latest thinking to your own flight operation.

The summit will also provide a look at the ways advanced air mobility (AAM) and eVTOL (electric vertical takeoff and landing) aircraft will be a sustainable part of on-demand air transport in the years to come. AAM developers from around the globe will be on hand, with a lineup of AAM vehicles on display in an Innovation Pavilion on the Palexpo exhibit floor. A separate EBACE Innovation Zone will feature dedicated sessions focused on these next-generation aircraft.

Inspiration for Tomorrow’s Young Leaders

EBACE will focus on the world of tomorrow in a host of ways, including with events centered around attracting and retaining a diverse, highly qualified workforce of young professionals. Speakers include Zara Rutherford, who earlier this year became the youngest woman to fly solo around the world, completing an epic five-month journey piloting a microlight aircraft. Also with us will be Maya Ghazal, who as a teenager fled Damascus, was inspired to become a pilot, and today serves as Goodwill Ambassador for UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency.

EBACE will continue this tradition as we embrace a post-COVID future filled with limitless potential, while also confronting the challenges of these uncertain times.

The inspiring speakers will be augmented by an EBACE Career Day just for students, with industry recruitment specialists leading small-group, interactive, roundtable discussions to receive practical advice on CV writing, interviewing, and networking.

On behalf of EBAA and NBAA, I look forward to welcoming the global business aviation community to Geneva for what promises to be an inspirational, enlightening, and informative edition of Europe’s premier business aviation event. To register today for EBACE2022, visit ebace.aero
