Following our announcement yesterday of a new recognition program for aviation professionals, Aviation Champions, AeroTime is now delighted to announce our second Aviation Champion.
Aastha Kacha, a Space Architect and Founder of AAKA Space Studio, has been appointed in recognition of her dedication to the aviation and space industry, her innovative work in space architecture, her positive attitude, and her work to promote the space sector. She is committed to helping and supporting aviation professionals to join the aviation and space industry both today and in the future.
On receiving the news, Aastha said: “I am so honoured to be an AeroTime Aviation Champion. Thank you AeroTime for this honour.”
Appointing Aastha Aviation Champion, AeroTime CEO and Editor in Chief, Richard Stephenson, said: “It’s clear to us that Aastha is making a significant difference and will be a positive force in our industry for many years to come. Her determination to effect change both on planet earth and further afield is really inspirational and will no doubt serve humanity well in the future. She is just the kind of person who deserves to be one our aviation champions.”
We shared Aastha’s story last year and found her work in space architecture and practice of designing and building inhabited environments in outer space an inspiration and very deserving of this accolade. The AeroTime team looks forward to working with Aastha as the latest Aviation Champion.
AeroTime is announcing the first five Aviation Champions this week as we mark one year of our Women in Aviation campaign. Stay tuned for the next announcement.
Congratulations, Aastha!
