Singapore low-cost carrier Scoot (Scoot Tigerair) will carry out an investigation after a video began circulating online, which captured shirtless and maskless male passengers ‘partying’ onboard what appears to be a Scoot flight.

The 15-second video clip, which was uploaded on social media platform TikTok by user zabination, contained footage of two men, who were not wearing shirts or face masks, and appeared to be revelling on an aircraft with at least 10 small bottles of alcohol on a seat tray table.

A female cabin crew wearing Scoot uniform also appeared in the clip. She is shown to be wearing a face mask, face shield and disposable gloves. As the two male passengers continued with their antics, the cabin crew was seen attempting to quiet them down, to no avail.

The clip has since been deleted, and the TikTok user, Marcin Zabinski aka zabination, told a Singaporean media outlet that the video was made “just for entertainment purposes”.

Meanwhile, a Scoot spokesperson told the Straits Times that the airline will be carrying out an investigation.

The spokesperson said: “Scoot treats the safety and well-being of passengers and crew with utmost importance. We are aware of the edited video posted to social media, and are investigating to ascertain the facts.”
