Qatar Executive receives eight Gulfstream G650ER jets

A business jet subsidiary of Qatar Airways, Qatar Executive has received eight brand-new Gulfstream G650ER private jets. The airline will receive four additional Gulfstream G650ER business jets before the end of 2021. 

Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive, Akbar Al Baker said: “We are proud to be the first global business aviation operator to receive a delivery flight using Sustainable Aviation Fuel.”

Gulfstream G650ER is an ultra-long-range business jet offering a maximum range of 7,500 nautical miles (13,890 kilometers) at a speed of 0.85 Mach (1041 kilometers per hour) or a range of 6,400 nautical miles (11,853 kilometers) at a speed of 0.90 Mach (1102 kilometers per hour).

According to Qatar Executive, the aircraft has capabilities to operate non-stop from Doha to New York in approximately 13 hours and from Doha to Seoul in just over eight hours.

In addition to eight Gulfstream G650ER aircraft, the airline’s fleet comprises three Bombardier Global 5000s, one Bombardier Global XRS, one Airbus ACJ319, and Airbus A319 Air Ambulance.
