Terminal D at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) is now back in operation following a small fire at the terminal’s parking garage. The fire broke out at approximately 15:38 local time on October 18, 2021. In an emailed statement to AeroTime hub, DFW said that while there are no injuries reported, they can confirm that vehicles have been damaged.

By approximately 06:32 on October 19, 2021, DFW declared that the fire was under control and stated that Terminal D was partially operational.
Fire Update: The fire is under control in the Terminal D garage and there are no injuries. It is available for drop-off traffic ONLY, but we are still asking customers to avoid the garage. Additional details follow in this thread

Almost two hours later at 08:27, DFW announced that the Terminal D parking garage had undergone inspection and that the impacted area had been cordoned off.
Fire Update: The Terminal D garage has now been reopened following an inspection this afternoon. The immediate area impacted by the fire (Level 4 – Rows F, G, and H) will remain closed at this time.
