Flair Airlines will add four new Boeing 737 MAX aircraft to its fleet in April and May 2022. The additional planes should help Flair to grow its spring schedule by 33%, according to the airline’s statement on October 19, 2021.

The addition of new aircraft will require 150 new staff including flight attendants, pilots, and operational support staff, Flair outlined, adding that it is currently recruiting for 100 pilot positions.

The airline currently flies to 18 destinations in Canada. Flair plans to open six US routes in fall 2021, and will be serving 28 destinations by spring 2022.

In January 2021, the airline announced plans to add 13 Boeing MAX 8 aircraft to its fleet which consisted of three Boeing 737-800 planes at the time. Eight MAXs have been added to the fleet since, Planespotters.net data shows.
