United States-based regional airline Mesa announced Torque Zubeck as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) on September 21, 2021.

Zubeck has served Mesa for almost seven months as the senior vice-president of finance.

“Joining Mesa in March, Torque has quickly proven his value, and he has the full confidence of me, the Board, and the entire Mesa organization,” said Michael Lotz, Mesa Air Group President.

Zubeck takes over as CFO from Lotz who will continue to serve the airline in his role as President, overseeing the strategic financial direction, corporate strategies, plans, and company policies.

Zubeck was a part of Alaska Airlines for 18 years in various capacities before joining Mesa.

“His background at Alaska Airlines and his focus on execution of corporate initiatives have quickly made him a valuable addition to the executive team,” added Lotz.

Mesa operates 129 aircraft, including two Boeing 737s, 47 Bombardier CRJ-900s, and 80 Embraer ERJ-175s.
