Dubai Aerospace Enterprise’s (DAE) Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) arm Joramco signed its first maintenance deal with Lithuania-based Getjet Airlines.

The partnership between the two organizations commenced in June 2021, when the MRO company executed maintenance work on one of the airline’s Airbus A320s.

“This agreement with GetJet Airlines further solidifies our leading position in the market and is a testament to the superlative level of work being done on the ground at Joramco’s facilities,” said Jeff Wilkinson, Joramco’s chief executive officer. “Thanks to our hard-earned reputation as a leader in the MRO field, we are well on our way to fulfilling our vision of expanding our portfolio of international clients.”

Getjet Airlines is an aircraft chartering and leasing company that operates on behalf of international carriers like LOT Polish Airlines, Finnair, TUIfly, Air Malta, Tunisair, and others.

“Partnership with Joramco opens new possibilities,” said Darius Viltrakis, the CEO of Getjet Airlines. “A trustful MRO partner enables us to plan business processes, including an aircraft check, more accurately. It is essential, especially in these post-pandemic times with recovering aviation.”

Getjet currently operates seven aircraft, including two Airbus A319s, four Airbus A320s, and one Airbus A330
