A France headquartered flight simulator manufacturer  ALSIM announced their first sale in Russia. The company delivered their ALSIM AL172 simulator to S7 Aero, an S7 Airlines training arm, where it will be used for private pilots training.

The AL172 features equipment like the Garmin G1000 NXI avionics system and the latest ALSIM VFR Visual System (VFRVS).

The simulator can be used for pilot training at different stages, from PPL to the advanced stages. The simulator is often considered to be a “replica” of the Cessna 172 SP Skyhawk NAVIII.

“We have chosen the AL172 to cover our need in FNPT II simulator for the fleet of training aircrafts which currently consists of several Cessna 172S Nav III. Its reasonable price and quick availability led us to this choice,” said Mikhail Lebedev, Director of S7 Training. “Having in mind ALSIM’s perfect reputation and also EASA certification, we’re sure the simulator will suit our needs.”

S7 is famed to be one of the largest aviation organisations for conducting flight training in Russia and Eastern Europe.
