The Civil Aviation Administration of Vietnam ordered the temporary suspension of foreign passenger entry, leading to the cancellation of all international flights to Hanoi’s Noi Bai International Airport (HAN) between June 1 and June 7, 2021.
In Ho Chi Minh City, the same measure initially scheduled between May 27 and June 4, 2021, is extended until June 14 at Tan Son Nhat International Airport (SGN), the country’s main airport.
Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City are two of the cities that are the most affected by COVID-19 in Vietnam. “The Ministry of Health confirmed 68 community infection cases of COVID-19 on Monday noon, raising the national patient tally to 7,236,” reported the Vietnamese government.
