BOC Aviation owns, manages and has on order a total of 509 aircraft, of which over half are made by Airbus. The manufacturer’s books show that as of December 31, 2019, the leasing company had placed 371 orders for various Airbus models and was awaiting deliveries of 60 of them, including 38 A320neos. Meanwhile, the leasing company has pointed out that the new order brings their total Airbus aircraft purchased since inception to actually 470 aircraft.

A minimum of ten and up to 12 of the A320neo aircraft from the new order have been committed for lease to Avianca Airlines, BOC Aviation has stated, highlighting that the Columbian airline is a new client for the company.
