Boeing Commercial Airplanes head of communications quits

Boeing has appointed Conrad Chun as vice president of Communications for Boeing Commercial Airplanes. Chun is taking the role with immediate effect, after the previous Communications VP has resigned.  

Linda Mills, Boeing vice president of communications within commercial airplanes division, is leaving the company, Boeing revealed in a statement on  November 12, 2019. The resignation comes in less than two years after she joined the company. Mills took up the role in Boeing in February 2018, having previously worked as Starbucks vice president of global communications, according to her LinkedIn profile.

Mills is succeeded by Conrad Chun, who was VP of communications for Boeing Global Services, with immediate effect. Alexa Marrero is temporarily taking up Chun’s previous role until a permanent replacement is selected.

“Stan [Stan Deal, president and CEO of Boeing Commercial Airplanes – ed. note] and I are confident in Conrad’s abilities to help us prepare to safely return the 737 MAX to service and continue to drive progress across our commercial airplanes business,” Anne Toulouse, senior vice president of Communications at Boeing  saidin the statement.
