LOT Polish Airlines has announced the launch of new direct flights between Warsaw and San Francisco. This information came shortly after Poland was nominated to a Visa Waiver programme by the president of the United States Donald Trump.

This new route will be launched on August 5, 2020. It will be the ninth direct connection to the United States operated by the Polish flag carrier. LOT plans to fly 4 times per week to the capital of the Silicon Valley, using a Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft.
