Embraer delivered 11 commercial jets during the first quarter of 2019, thus continuing a slight, but gradual trend of decreasing deliveries as in the previous couple of years.

The Brazilian manufacturer released first quarter results on May 15, 2019, stating that it has delivered a total of 22 jets, half of which are executive, in 1Q19. During the same quarter in 2018, Embraer delivered 14 jets to the commercial aviation market across the U.S., Europe and Asia Pacific. Through 1Q 2017, it  delivered 18 commercial jets. As for the full year results, the trend of slower deliveries is also far from new. In 2018 Embraer ended the year with 90 commercial aircraft deliveries ‒ down from 101 in 2017 and 108 in 2016.

Embraer’s firm order backlog  stands at $16 billion at the end of 1Q19. The manufacturer claimed its backlog value was $16.3 billion as of December 31, 2018.
