Aerolineas Argentinas Grounded all it’s 737 Max fleet

Yesterday night, Argentinian flag carrier Aerolineas Argentinas decided to ground all it´s 5 737 Max 8 fleet after Ethiopian Airlines accident last March 10 in Addis Ababa.

On a post of its Facebook official page, posted an press release cleaming that due tue the Ethiopian 737 accident and, after a last minute meeting between the company technicians, The National Administration of Civil Aviation (ANAC), decided to ground all of the 5 737 Max for a forced inspection, initially for 72 and waiting for Boeing reports and the accident investigation progress.

The airline on it´s comunicate said “since 2017, when the first Max made it´s first flight on the company, 737 Max fleet made 7.500 flights on safe conditions.”

Also, APLA(Pilots Sindicate) sent mensage to all of 737 Max pilots of the company claming to decline all the future flights on this aircraft,completing all the flights in progress and then returning to their bases until the issue will be fixed and the operation of the aircraft beacame safe.

The Argentinian flag carrier continues the way of other carriers like Air China, Royal Air Maroc, Aeromexico and Cayman Airways.
