Popular aviation YouTuber Jenny Blalock and her father, James Blalock, Jr, have died following a plane crash in a remote part of Tennessee on December 7, 2023.

Blalock was flying her aircraft, a single-engine 1965 Beechcraft 35 Bonanza, with her father as passenger. The pair took off from Knoxville Island Downtown Airport (DKX) in Tennessee.

The Federal Aviation Authority (FAA) said that the Beechcraft 35 crashed by Diana Ridge Road road near Pulaski, around 400 kilometers from Knoxville, at around 11:15 local time.

The aircraft flew for one hour and 15 minutes before it crashed. The aircraft was 16 kilometers from its intended destination.

The Giles County Office of Emergency Management confirmed that two bodies were found outside of the Beechcraft 35, and that the Blalocks were the only occupants on board the aircraft.

Authorities are still investigating the cause of the aircraft crash.
