Ethiopian Airlines is launching a new service to the US.
On May 16, Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport (ATL) will become the African airline’s fifth US gateway and its sixth in North America. Ethiopian currently flies to Chicago O’Hare (ORD), New York (JFK), Newark (EWR), and Washington-Dulles (IAD) as well as to Toronto, Canada (YYZ), from its home hub in Addis Ababa.
The four-weekly Atlanta link won’t be direct, though, since it will make a stopover in Dublin, Ireland (DUB).
The new service, which is going to be operated by Boeing 787-9 aircraft, will depart Addis Ababa on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday, with return flights departing Atlanta on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
