Russian aircraft manufacturer Ilyushin gave a sneak peak of the new interiors for its wide-body IL-96-400 project, also known as IL-496.
On March 20, 2019, during the round-table with potential buyers, Ilyushin presented several options for aircraft interior modification, claiming that at this stage any individual modification request can be accepted and implemented to clients’ needs.

Since the project launch in 2016, IL-96-400M was intended to become a more efficient and advanced version of the long-haul wide-body IL-96, designed back in 1980s, with 10 meters longer fuselage and newer equipment. Other than that, aircraft is going to have new airborne hardware and improved engines (most probably PD-35).
The plane is expected to enter the market in 2021.
