Lionair plane overshot the runway and crashed in Manilla airport (MNL), bursting into flames on March 29, 2020. None of the eight people onboard, including doctors and nurses, survived, initial reports indicate.
IAI1124A Westwind aircraft (registration number RP-C5880) was taking off runway 24 in Manila International Airport (Ninoy Aquino International Airport, MNL), in the Philippines, for a flight to Tokyo Haneda airport (HND) in Japan, the aircraft caught fire and, reportedly, exploded.

There were eight people on board: a flight medic, nurse, doctor, three flight crew, one patient and its companion, Richard Gordon, the head of the Philippine Red Cross, announced via social media.
Lionair Incorporated is a charter service company based in the Philippines.
